The Pajama Game (2009)-14449

The Pajama Game hit the high school stage March 12-14, 2009. 

This year's production featured a cast of 48, led by Ella Smith as Babe; Alec Brashear as Sid; Drew Wolgemuth as Hines; Grace Conway as Gladys; Jon Tirado as Prez; Katie Roksandic as Mabel; and Brett Caffier as Hasler.

Alec Brasher and Jon Tirado earned the 2009 Apollo Awards for Best Leading Actor and Best Supporting Actor in a Musical for their performances.
 
The story deals with labor troubles in a pajama factory, where workers' demands for a seven and a half cent raise are going unheeded. In the midst of this labor strife, love blossoms between Babe, the complaint committee head, and Sid, the new factory superintendent.
The show's 2006 revival on Broadway earned two Tony awards and starred Harry Connick Jr. in the role of Sid.
