LDHS Women's Select Choir

 

 

 

The Women's Select Choir is the select choir for 9th-12th grade Sopranos & Altos at Lower Dauphin High School, selected by audition each May.  

 

 

 

The Women's Select Choir performs works ranging from sacred and secular Renaissance, Classical, and Jazz, to Multi-Cultural, Musical Theatre, and Contemporary compositions. The Women's Select Choir rehearses daily for 44 minutes.  In recent years, the Women's Select Choir has been honored to perform at the following:

 

2023 Hershey Symphony Holiday Spectacular

2023, 2018, 2012 and 2010 Pennsylvania Music Advocacy Days (Capitol Rotunda, Harrisburg)

2018 Heinz Chapel Treble Choir Festival (University of Pittsburgh)

2017 NAfME All-Eastern Conference

2016 "Carmina Burana" with Harrisburg Choral Society and Pennsbury Community Chorus

2015 Susquehanna University Treble Choir Invitational

2015 Central PA Symphony Concert Series
