Chorus, Women's Select Choir, & Chamber Singers.
Students may register for as many choirs as they like! Chorus is by sign-up, and WSC/CS are by audition each April.

Sings on HS Fall, Winter, Spring Concerts
The Chorus is made up of 9th-12th grade students at LDHS. The Chorus performs performs music in styles including Classical, Broadway, and Multi-Cultural, and performs on LDHS's fall, winter, and spring choral concerts. There is no audition required, and 1 credit (full year) or 0.5 credit (half-year) schedule options are available. Recent special performances include the 2023 Pennsylvania Music Education Advocacy Day (Capitol Rotunda, Harrisburg).
Chamber Singers

Auditions due May 1, Earns 1 credit
Travels on all trips, 3x State Champs
Sings on HS Fall, Winter, Spring Concerts
The LDHS Chamber Singersare the select choir for 9th-12th grade students at Lower Dauphin High School, selected by audition each year. Scheduling is 1 credit (full year). The Chamber Singers perform in styles including a cappella Classical, Renaissance, Jazz, Contemporary, Broadway, and Multi-Cultural. The CS perform throughout the community and on LDHS's fall, winter, and spring choral concerts. Recent performances include: the 2023 Hershey Symphony Holiday Spectacular, the 2023/2017/2013 University of Pittsburgh Heinz Chapel Chamber Choir Festival; the 2022/2014/2011 PMEA State Conference; the 2023/2020/2018/2012/2010 PMEA Music Education Advocacy Day (Capitol Rotunda, Harrisburg); the 2020 ACDA National Virtual Concert Hall; the 2019/2016 Susquehanna University Mixed Choir Invitational; 2017/2015 ACDA State Conferences (Undergraduate Conducting Competition choir); 2016 Lebanon Valley College Mixed Choir Invitational; Beethoven's 9th Symphony with the Harrisburg Symphony; and the 2015/2010 Central PA Symphony Concert Series.

The Women's Select Choir is the select choir for 9th-12th grade sopranos & altos at Lower Dauphin High School, selected by audition each April. Scheduling is 1 credit (full year). The WSC performs in styles including Classical, Renaissance, Jazz, Contemporary, Broadway, and Multi-Cultural. The WSC performs throughout the community, and on the LDHS fall, winter, and spring choral concerts. Recent performances include: the 2023 Hershey Symphony Holiday Spectacular, the 2023/2018/2012/2010 Pennsylvania Music Education Advocacy Day (Capitol Rotunda, Harrisburg), the 2017 All-Eastern Conference, 2018 University of Pittsburgh Treble Choir Invitational, 2015 Susquehanna University Treble Choir Invitational, 2016 "Carmina Burana" with Harrisburg Choral Society and Pennsbury Community Chorus, and the 2015 Central PA Symphony concert series
