This class is designed to assist students in being socially prepared for situations that arise in the home, school and community.  Students are grouped according to their level of need. Class sizes are small, so that students can receive individualized attention & instruction to best fit their needs.

There is a curriculum for this class that is tailored around student’s present needs. 

Topics may include:

·        The different ways that we communicate (body language, gestures etc.)

·        Conversation skills

·        Making Impressions & Taking another’s perspective

·        Flexible thinking

·        Identifying and managing emotions

·        Making & maintaining friendships

·        Problem solving

·        Making good decisions
