Spanish 1 and Canvas Link
A course designed to introduce the student to the basic skills of speaking, reading, writing and understanding the Spanish language. There is an emphasis on building a large vocabulary and the student learns the grammatical structue of the language which aids in beginning to create original speech. Certain aspects of the Hispanic culture are also taught and discussed while learning about various Spanish-speaking countries. Please see the syllabus for a more detailed explanation of the course and requirements.
The syllabus, as well as all class information, is posted on Canvas. This includes, daily class summaries, homework, quizzes, tests and general announcements. When available, in class worksheets, notes, handouts, etc. will also be posted on Canvas. Students and parents are encouraged to utlize Canvas.
