Welcome

The School Counseling Office at Lower Dauphin is committed to the academic and personal welfare of the whole student.  Each counselor works with a specific grade level and remains with that class of students for all four years of high school. This system allows us the opportunity to get to know our students well and to observe their academic and personal growth over the course of their high school careers. Counselors are available to assist students with academic, career, and personal issues and work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to advocate for each individual student's best interests and educational success. Our goal is to help students focus on academic, personal/social and career development so they achieve success in school and are prepared to lead fulfilling lives as responsible members of society.  To accomplish this, we offer a variety of services at the high school  -- small group support, individual counseling, career counseling, and parent programs to name a few.

I have the pleasure of working with the Class of 2027.  High school can be very overwhelming for both parents and students alike. We encourage you to visit our website often and be in touch with questions (tdreon@ldsd.org).  I welcome the opportunity to meet or chat throughout the year!

REMIND is a one-way text messaging/email tool.   Please sign up for this free service (you won’t see my number and I won’t see yours) by texting @dreon27 to the number 81010.  I will use this tool to communicate with both students and parents throughout high school.  REMIND has limited the number of people that can sign up under one account so I do have several REMIND accounts all for the class of 2027.  There is no need to sign up for all of them - I send REMIND texts through all of the accounts associated with the class of 2027.
