College Prep. English 10

 

 

 

 

The college preparatory sophomore English class follows the Pennsylvania Common Core Standards for English Language Arts. Throughout the year, students will focus on reading comprehension, critical thinking, writing, listening, speaking, and vocabulary through activities such as discussions, group work, projects, and writing assignments. The goal for the sophomore college preparatory course is to create a solid academic foundation as students prepare to move on to more rigorous levels of English/language arts courses during their remaining years of high school and college.
