Career Prep. English 10

 

The career preparatory freshmen/sophomore English class follows the Pennsylvania Common Core Standards for English Language Arts. Throughout the year, students will focus on reading comprehension, critical thinking, writing, listening, and vocabulary skills through activities such as discussions, group work, projects, and writing assignments. The goal for the freshmen/sophomore career preparatory course is to create a solid academic foundation and critical thinking skills to better read and understand the world around them.  Skills addressed throughout the year will also prepare students for further education or entrance into the work force upon graduation from high school.
