The purpose of a hybrid course is to combine face-to-face, collaborative, and online learning. The goal of this course is to utilize face-to-face and online activities to reinforce, complement, and elaborate on one another.  The collaborative and online components should not be regarded as busy work or add-on activities.  The hybrid model will provide students with different avenues for obtaining, reinforcing, and extending the information and skills presented to them throughout the course.
