About Athletic Training

At Lower Dauphin, the ATCs care for all student athletes participating in a PIAA sports at the high school and middle school. These sports are listed below.

Wrestling 

All athletic trainers are allied health care professionals.  They provide health care through immediate first aid, evaluation of athletic injuries, follow-up treatments and rehabilitation for the purpose of allowing athletes to participate in PIAA sports in a safe and healthy manner.  More information about athletic training education and job specifics can be found through the National Athletic Trainer's Association website, www.nata.org.
