Lower Dauphin JROTC Program
The JROTC program at Lower Dauphin High School in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, is designed to develop leadership, discipline, and citizenship among students while fostering respect for self, others, and community. Rooted in the values of teamwork and responsibility, the program provides cadets with opportunities to build confidence, practice organizational skills, and take part in community service initiatives.
Through structured training, drill, and classroom instruction, students gain not only a greater understanding of leadership principles but also practical life skills that prepare them for success beyond high school. The program encourages academic achievement, physical fitness, and personal growth, creating well-rounded young leaders who embody the JROTC mission of “motivating young people to be better citizens.”
